Lauren Bell holds a Master of Information (MI) degree in Archives and Preservation from Rutgers University. She has spent her career focusing on the preservation, digitization, and access of cultural heritage materials so that everyone can have access to this type of content. Bell has held internships and grant-funded positions at institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Frick Art Reference Library, and the Corning Museum of Glass. Currently, she spends her days as a Digital Imaging Specialist digitizing records at the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, DC. Before that, she digitized rare books and archival material at Princeton University Library. In her spare time, Bell enjoys learning new crafting skills such as metalworking, bookbinding, and fiber arts.
