The New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) has named Rutgers School of Communication and Information (SC&I)'s Part-Time Lecturer Leslie Burger the 2017 Librarian of the Year award for her dedication and contributions to libraries. Burger was formerly the Executive Director of the Princeton Public Library, heading the effort to transform it into the busiest library in New Jersey.
