The coronavirus pandemic has had a dramatic impact on organizations and sectors of all kinds, including institutions of higher education. Although the long-term impact on colleges and universities is unknown, the short-term impact of the pandemic has been both staggering and unprecedented.
LISSA is hosting a virtual meeting on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. with Nancy Kranich, Special Projects Research Librarian at Rutgers University.
I would like to thank all members of the SC&I family for how you have responded to the COVID-19 crisis. Staff have developed new systems for working remotely and coordinating with one another. And faculty have been working to develop distance teaching to allow our students to finish the semester. It is going to be a challenge this week as all the distance teaching gets into gear but we are well prepared.
