Eric Emeric is the Sr. Director of Metadata & Data Governance at Paramount Global/Showtime Networks Inc., where he leads, from inception to distribution, all global metadata and data governance endeavors related to customer-facing data flows within enterprise DAM systems. He has been a data professional for the last 23 years, establishing metadata best practices in the medical, legal, and entertainment field. Emeric has an MLS from Queens College in New York.He currently is an executive leader on the EIDR (Entertainment ID Registry) board, which is the universal identifier registry for movie and television assets, and a judge for the Imagen Awards, which recognizes and acknowledges the most talented and accurate portrayals of Latinos in film, television, and streaming media and a virtual volunteer for the Library of Congress.
