July 17-26, Hugh N. Boyd Journalism Diversity Workshop
The Department of Journalism and Media Studies & SC&I are co-sponsoring the 2020 Hugh N. Boyd Journalism Diversity Workshop for New Jersey high school students, which will take place at Rutgers University School of Communication and Information from July 17-26, 2020.
The workshop's mission is to inspire a diverse group of talented high school students to pursue careers in journalism, encourage them to pursue a course of study that will prepare them for these goals, and develop and improve skills in writing and editing (text and video production) as well as the digital skills necessary for the type of multimedia journalism now considered standard in the media world.
