November 20, Interprofessional Education & Communication in Health Care (4th Rutgers IAPP-Greece Initiative e-Symposium
Rutgers University and Democritus University of Thrace cordially invite you to their second in a series of joint e-symposia. This event will focus on "Interprofessional Education and Communication in Health Care: Experiences and Challenges in the U.S.A. and Greece."
The e-symposia series is part of an array of activities the two institutions are collaborating on in the context of the International Academic Partnership Program-Greece (IAPP-Greece), an academic incubator program sponsored in 2020 by the Greek Ministry of Education,
The e-symposium will feature faculty speakers from Rutgers and Democritus University, including Dr. Maria Venetis (SC&I), Dr. Alma Merians (SHP), and Professor Dipali Yeh (SHP). SC&I’s Interim Dean Dr. Dafna Lemish, SHP’s Associate Dean of Interprofessional Education Dr. Alma Merians, Democritus University’s Rector, Dr. Fotios Maris, and the Head of Democritus University’s Department of Medicine, Dr. Konstantinos Vadikolias, will offer brief opening remarks. The event’s sessions will be moderated by faculty from both Rutgers and Democritus.
