SC&I Joins New Organization in Communication and Journalism
Association focuses on supporting University deans and directors to further academic programs

The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now a proud sponsor and founding member of the Alliance of Schools and Colleges of Communication and Journalism (ASCCJ). Launched in the summer of 2018, the ASCCJ is designed to assist leaders of comprehensive schools in communication and journalism in supporting and advancing their programs. Benefits include collaborative problem-solving and networking opportunities, as well as access to a shared industry database and repository. 

According to their website, the ASCCJ “works to advance communication and strengthen society by uniting and supporting comprehensive academic communication programs in the U.S. and throughout the world in order to foster excellence, evaluation, collaboration, diversity, and integrity.”
