Scholars will present leading-edge communication research during the 26th Annual New Jersey Communication Association (NJCA) Conference on March 26, 2022.
In 1987, March became known and celebrated as Women’s History Month in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia, as “an annual recognition of the historical and modern accomplishments and perseverance of women across the globe –financially, socially, and politically,” according to Wikipedia.
Williamson, a communication major, credits his classes with Teaching Professor Mark Beal and other SC&I faculty for his success while interning with the New York Knicks public relations team.
SC&I faculty, students, and alumni will attend this year’s National Communication Association (NCA) convention in Seattle, Washington, from Thursday, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, with pre-conference sessions scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17.
The newly revised edition of “A Guide for Leaders in Higher Education: Concepts, Competencies, and Tools, Second Edition” highlights the need for leaders and aspiring leaders in higher education to “think broadly about the purposes of higher education and the dynamics of organizational excellence, and to apply these insights effectively in goal setting, planning and change leadership,” and more.
