Dean Jonathan Potter to Deliver Keynote Speech at 26th Annual NJCA Conference

In 1987, March became known and celebrated as Women’s History Month in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia, as “an annual recognition of the historical and modern accomplishments and perseverance of women across the globe –financially, socially, and politically,” according to Wikipedia.

Williamson says his classes as a communication major at SC&I have prepared him for the hands-on work he is completing as an intern with the Knick’s public relations team.

Over 40 Faculty and Students Will Participate in National Communication Association Convention

Date: November 8, 2021

SC&I faculty, students, and alumni will attend this year’s National Communication Association (NCA) convention in Seattle, Washington, from Thursday, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, with pre-conference sessions scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17.

Newly revised, “A Guide for Leaders in Higher Education: Concepts, Competencies, and Tools, Second Edition” addresses more broadly issues pertaining to diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

An Essential Guide for Leadership Development in Higher Education

The newly revised edition of “A Guide for Leaders in Higher Education: Concepts, Competencies, and Tools, Second Edition” highlights the need for leaders and aspiring leaders in higher education to “think broadly about the purposes of higher education and the dynamics of organizational excellence, and to apply these insights effectively in goal setting, planning and change leadership,” and more.
