Digital Asset Management Certificate Program Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

SC&I’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) certificate program marks its third anniversary this fall; it is more relevant than ever. Organizations daily amass an ever-increasing amount of digital assets—content stored in a digital file format—including images, photographs, videos, audio/music files, graphics, animations, illustrations, and more.

The first event of its kind hosted by SC&I, a recent Rutgers symposium brought together scholars and advocates from Rutgers and beyond to discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare, and share research methods, findings, and next steps.

The Fall 2022 New Faculty Colloquium: New JMS, LIS, and COM Faculty Members Present Research

Monica Soveja MHCI’22 is among the first graduates of our Master of Health Communication and Information (MHCI) program. As a senior Communication major and Digital Communication, Information, and Media (DCIM) minor, Cuddihy reflects on her academic research experiences and the supportive environment she’s found at SC&I.

Faculty and Students to Participate in the ASIS&T 85th Annual Meeting

The School of Communication and Information’s iSchool faculty and students will participate in the 85th Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) Annual Meeting, scheduled from October 29 – November 1 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For the first time, the conference will take place in the same hotel immediately following the Association for Library and Information Science Education Annual Meeting (ALISE).

The Information Seeking in Context (ISIC) Conference has created the biennial “Ross Todd Award for Inspirational Information Behaviour Research by a Doctoral Student.”
