SC&I Student Services undergraduate team presented at the NACADA Region II Conference in Atlantic City in early April. The presentation was titled “Small Team; Big Impact: Creating meaningful student experiences while building team morale." According to the NACADA website, "NACADA promotes and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students. NACADA provides a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through numerous activities and publications. NACADA also serves as an advocate for effective academic advising by providing a Consulting and Speaker Service and funding for Research related to academic advising."
Assistant Dean Kevin Ewell noted that the undergraduate team successfully submitted their proposal during the Fall, and worked diligently over the past few months to prepare. Their session was a great success, a true testament to their preparation and execution.
