Suchinthi Fernando [D. Eng., M. Eng., B.Sc. (Hons.)] obtained her doctoral and master’s degrees from Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan, and her bachelor’s degree from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. She teaches information science courses to graduate and undergraduate students. Her research interests lie in the field of information security. Suchinthi's objectives are to educate and guide students in information science and security, enabling them to recognize, research, and provide practical solutions to real-life problems.
