Lorraine Seabrook is a professional writer, editor, and researcher. As a strategic communications assistant at SC&I, Seabrook provides support to the director of marketing and communications; researches, writes, and creates original digital and print marketing content to help coordinate, deliver, and promote the educational programs at SC&I; and develops and implements communication strategies and content to increase participation in and awareness of SC&I’s graduate programs and events.

Upon graduating from Rutgers College in 1988, she has worked with many clients across the higher ed, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, and nonprofit sectors to help them define, create, refine, and deliver content to their target audiences. She is the president of Seabrook Communications, a boutique writing and editing firm based in Hopewell, NJ.

Seabrook is the co-author of two local history books: “Images of America: Hopewell Valley” and “The Penn Brook Club: An Illustrated History.” Her writing has appeared in many publications, including multi-year stints writing The Princeton Packet’s weekly “Health Matters” feature and the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce magazine’s monthly “Ask a Busy Person” feature. As a marketing team member for Springpoint, she has received numerous American Design and Inhouse Design awards (2015-2021) and a National Mature Media Award (2022). She is a community and church volunteer and has served as president of the Princeton Girlchoir board of directors and chair of their artistic director search committee. She enjoys immersing herself in New Jersey’s rich history.
