Comfort Umoren-Olorunnisomo is a Ph.D. student in Media Studies. She earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research explores the intricate intersections of social media, disinformation, and social movements, focusing on their implications for democracy in both the global South and the global North.
