SC&I Students Help WRSU Rutgers Radio Earn Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards

The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System held its 81st Annual Conference virtually from March 2-6, 2021, and thousands of students from more than 75 schools participated. WRSU Rutgers Radio, one of the oldest college radio stations in the nation, was named a finalist in five categories and won awards in the News, On-Air, and Online categories.

Assistant Professor of Professional Practice Mark Beal’s new research focus is on how Gen Z, the “purpose generation,” chooses the brands they are loyal to.

New SC&I Research Shows Brands How to Earn Loyalty from Gen Z

In a survey of 500 Gen Zers ages 13 to 24, Beal found that 86% of Gen Zers “conduct research on a brand before purchasing a product to learn if the brand is purposeful and contributes to a better society.”

SC&I and Rutgers Libraries hosted an exciting event for a new international children's and young adult book collection at Rutgers, as well as the online LibGuide linked to the collection.

SC&I and Rutgers Libraries celebrated April 2, the official day of International Youth Literature, by hosting an exciting event and ribbon cutting for a new international children's and young adult book collection at Rutgers, as well as the online LibGuide linked to the collection.

Greenberg has been named a recipient of a prestigious Cullman Fellowship from the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library.

David Greenberg Named a 2021-2022 Cullman Fellow

Greenberg has been chosen as one of only 15 academics, independent scholars, creative writers, and visual artists working on book projects to be named a recipient of a Cullman Fellowship from the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library.
