All Rutgers University students, regardless of major, are eligible to declare the Digital Communication, Information and Media (DCIM) minor after completing a DCIM course with a grade of C or better.

All Rutgers University students, regardless of major, are eligible to declare the Gender and Media minor after completing one of these two Gender and Media foundation courses with a grade of C or better.

The Digital Communication, Information and Media (DCIM) minor complements every major across the Rutgers academic spectrum and provides you with the ability to research, evaluate, develop and share digital content.

GMM Requirements and Courses

The classes fulfill a variety of core curriculum requirements for SAS and other schools and can be double-counted for both the Gender and Media and Digital Communications, Information and Media (DCIM) minors.

The Gender and Media minor complements every major across the Rutgers academic spectrum and provides you with the ability to use media to positively impact a culture that is highly reflective of mass media viewpoints.
