Information Technology and Informatics Requirements

The Department of Library and Information Science at SC&I offers an undergraduate major in Information Technology and Informatics (ITI). The program consists of 39 credits: 

  • One ITI foundation course (3 credits)
  • One SC&I interdisciplinary course (3 credits)
  • Four core courses (12 credits)
  • Seven elective courses (21 credits)

Requirements for Admitted Students

Students who are accepted into the ITI major complete three sets of requirements: one SC&I interdisciplinary course, four core courses and seven electives. You can access complete course descriptions for these and all SC&I undergraduate courses online.
