Among those being recognized is Associate Professor of Journalism and Media Studies Khadijah Costley White, who will receive the inaugural Everett Hughes Holle Award for Social Justice and Community Engagement. “Some of the communications strategies and techniques that I learned in the master’s program that I use often in my job today and in previous roles are stakeholder communication strategy, organizational change, management communications, and crisis communications,” Freeman said.
