The SC&I faculty on the list have offered to speak to reporters about the election on a diverse range of issues including American politics, the opioid crisis, the youth vote, leadership, and politics and media.

Six SC&I faculty members whose scholarly expertise relates to the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election and are willing and available to speak to the media about their expertise appear on the Rutgers Communications and Marketing (R-Comm) list, “Expert Commentary: 2020 Presidential Election.”

This list, comprised of Rutgers University-New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) faculty, is being used by R-Comm as a resource for reporters searching for expert insight and analysis for news stories and opinion commentaries on a diverse number of issues affecting the presidential election. 

Faculty experts from SC&I on the current list are Mark Beal (Elections/Voter Action and Youth Vote), Lauren Feldman (Politics/Politics and Media), David Greenberg (Elections/American Politics), Britt Paris (Elections/Misinformation), Brent Ruben (Politics/Leadership), and Itzhak Yanovitzky (Health Care/Opioid Crisis).

SC&I faculty who are available to speak to the media about their expertise regarding the election and are interested in being added to the list are encouraged to reach out to Megan Schumann at R-Comm: megan.schumann@rutgers.edu.
