Alumna Collaborates with SC&I Students to Support NAMI NJ

Master of Communication and Media (MCM) alumna Maggie Luo '04, Associate Director of Communications and Technology for the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI NJ), is collaborating with the undergraduate students in Professor Itzhak Yanovitzky's Persuasion class to develop a persuasive communication strategy to build NAMI NJ's future volunteer base.

Three members of the SC&I Community and the Rutgers Center for Organizational Leadership Launch New Academic Leadership Program at RBHS

Brent Ruben, Ralph Gigliotti, and Christine Goldthwaite worked in collaboration with senior leaders and faculty from RBHS to develop ALP-RBHS, a program designed to provide academic health leaders from across the university with an integrated orientation to leadership, managerial, and organizational concepts and competencies.

Douglas N. Woodson Sr. Endowed Scholarship

The Douglas N. Woodson Sr. Endowed Scholarship empowers Master of Information students. With the first scholarship awards to be made in 2019, Brown-Woodson, who completed her doctorate at Rutgers, is happy to pay it forward. “With financial help, maybe students won’t have to work full time, and they can finish their degrees in a shorter amount of time,” she says. “That’s my intent—to give back and empower others.”
